The National Novel Writing Month started in 1999 which would make it 21 years old! NaNoWriMo was a project created by Chris Baty and in 2006, it became a nonprofit organization. The ultimate goal of NaNoWriMo is to write at least 50,000 words. If you sign up on their website and submit your work, you could be declared a winner of NaNoWriMo and receive various discounts and/or prizes! Their website offers a variety of resources to help authors everywhere! So, if you are looking to complete that novel, NaNoWriMo can help. By completing the 1,667 word count per day, you can easily reach the goal of 50,000 words towards your novel and become a winner of NaNoWriMo!
